Do I Need Technical Skills to Set Up MarketMate?

No. MarketMate is a one-time install managed by our team. Once you're set up, everything — form building, event creation, vendor management — is done through a clean admin dashboard with no code required.

How Does Invoicing Work?

When you approve a vendor application, MarketMate generates a Stripe invoice automatically. Vendors pay online, and you see payment status update in real time. No chasing spreadsheets or manual reconciliation.

Can I Customise the Application Form for Each Event?

Yes. You build reusable form templates with any combination of field types — text, dropdowns, file uploads, stall size selectors, and more. You can attach a different template to each event or reuse one across many.

Do i need a Stripe account to use MarketMate?

Yes. MarketMate uses Stripe to handle payments. You need to have a Stripe account to use MarketMate. You can sign up for a Stripe account here for free.

Can I send branded emails to my vendors?

Yes — and they go out automatically. MarketMate handles all vendor transactional emails: application approved, application denied, invoice confirmation, and instant booking confirmation. Each email is sent with your logo, brand colour, and custom copy. You can create multiple templates per email type and assign different ones to different events.

Does MarketMate work with Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ads?

Yes. Paste your Meta Pixel ID and optional Conversions API token in Settings and we track the full funnel — page views, add to cart, checkout, and purchases with real revenue values. Server-side events fire when Stripe confirms payment, so conversions stay accurate even when ad blockers or checkout redirects would miss the browser pixel. Door sales from the check-in screen can send purchase events too. Meta deduplicates browser and server automatically so you are never double-counted.

Why server-side tracking — is the Pixel not enough?

The Pixel alone is great for behaviour on your pages, but many real purchases are lost after customers leave for Stripe or when blockers hide the script. Conversions API sends purchase events from our servers when payments succeed, so Meta sees a complete picture for attribution and optimisation. We recommend both Pixel and CAPI for the most reliable data.
